Summertime Fun + Updatez

World, I come before you now an apprehensive guy...

No, not really. Just mad a buzz with lies ahead in the immediate future. It's gonna be good.

Has anyone else seen this amazing trailer for "The Social Network"?

Additionally, did you get hooked by the Scala & Kolacny Brothers cover of Radiohead's "Creep"? I know I did.

Anywho. Pilotdrift has come a long way for me and I'm four songs/videos rendered out from being done. SO CLOSE!

Here's a screenshot to perhaps entice anyone who might be reading this as to what's in store for the show:

Peace love and jamz, y'all!

Why hello there!

Long time no see.

Oh, no it's my fault really; don't blame yourself. I mean, sure you could do better to let me in on a little feedback e'ery once and a while, but hey! Let's not dwittle down into technicalities!

Anywho. I'm good. This was a great, harrowing year at North Texas {but an exciting one at that} and next year is looking to be much, much better.

Pilotdrift is cranking itself out on the computers downstairs.

My friends, Brandon and Jesse, corralled me into an epic gig for later in the summer, planning out some good ol' jams. Thus far we got going:

Stockholm Syndrome | MUSE
Dancing Bear | Pilotdrift
You've Been Had (Machine) | Analog Rebellion
These Are My Twisted Words | Radiohead
+ one epic 7-14min jam of epic epicness.

Pretty schweet if you ask me.

Oh hey, I suppose I am on Twitter now. You can look to the right and down a little to find out more I guess.

Buh-bye now, buh-bye!

The Better Avatar

Kim and I are in such a tizzy over this film. Please, Lord, don't let M. Night ruin it! But hey, by the looks of this, he won't.

iPad

Oh, Apple. Why hadst thou betrayed me?

I took the pill; went down the rabbit hole, saw how far it goes. And in recent years, the shine has significantly worn off.

The Mad Hatter lied.

Apple could have bridged the gap between a mobile, app drive device and full notebook computer. They didn't.

Apple could have made something truly innovative and in line with their reputation. They didn't.

Apple could have made a device people would have a legitamate mesh of needs and wants for. They most certainly did not.

Rather, Apple chose to mastermind an obese iPhone that thought too highly of itself and become a simple, glorified web portal.

There could have been Flash, multi-tasking, an actual fuctioning computer in that 10" frame.

But no. Apple wanted to go with something they could sell as the "best thing they've ever made", whilst probably set to majorly update it within 15 months. Setting our naive minds aflutter yet again.

So be happy America. You will never get exactly what you want.

p.s. Steve, please refocus your attetion to bettering the community you lead rather than simply satiating them.

The League of Extraordinary...

You, know. I'm willing to bet that the #1 thing ever posted on any blog is "Oops, sorry that I haven't posted in while! I should do better with this thing! Aha, ha." Or something to that point.

A couple of things.

I'm so proud to say I go here to the University of North Texas. Despite it's cost and expenses, I've made a good deal of friends, strengthened many others, and am becoming successful with the whole music thing. I think. What do you think: Against The Grain (& yet, not so)

If you're like me and were born in the '80s, than we've lived in 4 decades. That's cuh-razy!

P I L O T D R I F T is soooo close to being done!!!

Oh! And I'M WITH COCO!

M U T E M A T H

I'm so, so excited to see these four on the 29th of this here October.
Even though their second LP, "Armistice", felt a little lackluster, I know them live will more than make up for it.
Oh! I can't wait!

Go check out when they're coming to a venue near you!

$14,000 worth of Education.

I'm into my second week of life here in beautiful Denton, TX at the University of North Texas. It's marvelous with a capital 'M'.

I seriously love it here; the town, massive music scene, friends old and new. Excellent.

So here's my shameless plug: go to UNT.
